About NeNe
A Journey of Culinary Excellence Since 2015
Japanese cuisine is our passion, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Our Story
Since opening our doors in 2015, NeNe Japanese Contemporary Bistro has been on a mission to bring authentic Japanese cuisine to Southwest Las Vegas. What started as a dream to share the true flavors of Japan has grown into a beloved dining destination that locals and visitors alike return to time and again.
Our restaurant represents the perfect harmony between traditional Japanese culinary techniques and modern innovation. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Pin Manmalai, we’ve created a space where time-honored recipes meet contemporary presentation, where the freshest ingredients from both local sources and direct imports from Japan come together to create unforgettable dining experiences.
Located in the heart of Southwest Las Vegas, NeNe has become more than just a restaurant – it’s a gathering place where friends celebrate special occasions, business deals are sealed over exceptional sushi, and families create lasting memories. Our commitment to excellence has earned us recognition as the #1 Japanese restaurant in Southwest Vegas, a testament to our unwavering dedication to quality and service.
Executive Chef Pin Manmalai
In Japanese cuisine, we don’t just feed the body – we nourish the soul. Every cut, every garnish, every flavor combination is designed to create harmony and bring happiness to our guests.
– Chef Pin Manmalai
With over 20 years of expertise in Japanese culinary arts, Chef Pin Manmalai is the heart and soul of NeNe. His journey began in Thailand, where he first discovered his passion for the precision and artistry of Japanese cuisine.
Training under master sushi chefs in both Japan and the United States, Chef Pin has developed a unique style that respects traditional techniques while embracing contemporary flavors. His dedication to the craft goes beyond mere preparation – it’s about creating an experience that touches all the senses.
Chef Pin’s culinary philosophy is deeply rooted in the Japanese principle of “omotenashi” – wholehearted service. This means not just serving food, but creating moments of joy and satisfaction for every guest. Each dish that leaves his kitchen carries this philosophy, from the careful selection of ingredients to the meticulous presentation.
